Abstract: In this demonstration, we show a system that arrange issues in civil litigation in Japan. This system contains knowledge about civil law rules and asks the plaintiff and the defendant about necessary facts to establish legal arguments between them using graphical user-interface. The system also asks whether alleged facts made by one party is agreed by other party. If disagreement exists, it becomes an issue which a judge should decide the truth value of the issue. This system can reduce an omission of necessary facts in litigation and can help law school students to educate how they make their claims correctly and even for lay people to make an appropriate argument in litigation.
